Serpent Sprint: Private Vault Privacy Policy

Serpent Sprint: Private Vault is built as an offline-first app. The public game is Serpent Sprint, and the private local organization area is called The Pit.

Offline-First App

Serpent Sprint: Private Vault is designed to work locally on your device. The app does not require an account, cloud service, advertising network, analytics system, or tracking service to provide its core features.

Local Files And User-Controlled Storage

Files stay on the device or in user-selected external storage. User-selected photos, videos, documents, archives, and personal files are processed locally for app functionality.

Files cloned into The Pit are encrypted locally. The original selected file remains where it was unless the user manages it outside the app.

Export writes decrypted copies only to the destination selected by the user. Exported files are no longer protected by The Pit.

Viewing And Playback

Image viewing, text preview, mock-Pro PDF viewing, and mock-Pro video playback may create temporary decrypted data so the app can display or play the selected item. ZIP extraction and thumbnail generation may also temporarily process decrypted data while The Pit is unlocked.

Temporary viewer files are deleted on viewer close, vault lock, app launch cleanup, app background lock, or app exit when practical. Encrypted thumbnails are stored locally in encrypted form. Storage analyzer, duplicate finder, batch operations, and ZIP tools run locally.

PIN And Access

PINs are not stored in plaintext. Bamboozled Labs cannot recover a forgotten PIN and cannot access The Pit contents.

Forgotten PINs may make private data unrecoverable.

Payments

No live billing is included. Pro video playback, PDF viewing, encrypted thumbnails, and ZIP tools are currently controlled by mock entitlement for development testing only. If payments are added later, payment processing will be handled by Google Play Billing.

User Responsibility

Users are responsible for lawful use and backups. External storage devices can fail, be removed, or become unavailable.
