No BS Python Privacy
How No BS Python stores app data locally and uses Apple and Google store services.

No BS Python is a local-first Python learning app. This policy describes app behavior reviewed in the release candidate. The app does not require an account and does not sync app data to a Bamboozled Labs server.
Information stored on your device
The app stores profile choices and learning activity locally, including a display name or nickname, optional gender text, age mode, learning preferences, theme and personalization settings, lesson progress, XP, streaks, badges, blueprint progress, saved code, builds, notes, tags, and reward state. Exported files are stored in the app's documents area until you remove them. These items remain on the device and are not sent to Bamboozled Labs by the app.
Sharing and exports
Sharing and exporting happen only after you choose an action. The app shows the content being shared and lets you choose whether to include items such as code, notes, progress, display name, and tagline. The operating system then presents available destinations. A destination you select receives the content you approve under that destination's own terms and privacy policy.
In-app purchases
On iPhone and iPad, purchases use Apple StoreKit. On Android, purchases use Google Play Billing. The app receives store product and transaction information needed to grant or restore access; Apple or Google processes payment and maintains its store purchase records under its own policies. The app does not collect payment card or bank details, and Bamboozled Labs does not receive payment credentials through the app.
Network services, ads, and tracking
The release candidate's source and declared dependencies were reviewed and do not include a Bamboozled Labs account backend, cloud sync, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, attribution SDK, or third-party tracking SDK. The app does not sell or trade user data. Apple or Google may process data as part of their operating system and store services. If the app's services or data practices change, this policy will be updated.
Retention and control
App data stays on your device until you change or delete it, clear app data where the operating system allows, or remove the app. Exported copies shared or saved to another destination are controlled by that destination. Store purchase records are controlled by Apple or Google; use their account tools and the in-app Restore Purchases action to recover eligible access.
Children and families
Kid mode changes the app's language and learning experience. The app does not ask for a child's name, contact information, or account. Optional profile text and locally saved learning activity remain on the device. A parent or guardian can remove local app data by clearing or removing the app, subject to the device's backup settings.
