What Hermione Vault does
Hermione Vault helps you import selected files, folders, photos, and videos and verify exact restoration. The app is designed to process selected content on your Apple device and in storage destinations that you choose.
Information we do not collect
The current app does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, account creation, or a Bamboozled Labs backend. Bamboozled Labs does not receive your files, photos, videos, folders, hashes, storage locations, or vault receipts through the app. The app does not collect biometric templates.
Apple and storage-provider services
Apple provides the Photos picker, Files picker, device permissions, and system security services used by the app. If you choose a cloud-backed Files provider or another external storage destination, that provider may process or store the content under its own terms and privacy policy. Hermione Vault does not receive that provider's credentials.
Integrity records
Hermione Vault calculates SHA-256 integrity values and stores the related recovery records in the app container and/or destinations you select. These records are not sent to Bamboozled Labs.
Retention and deletion
Content remains where you place it until you remove it or the applicable storage provider removes it. Removing the app can remove app-container data but does not necessarily remove files written to a user-selected Files destination.
Children
Hermione Vault is a general-purpose storage utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. For privacy questions, contact flint@bamboozledlabs.dev. Do not send passwords, recovery secrets, or private files by email.
